Irene McDermott Brown – Independent Non-Executive Director

Irene joined the Group in January 2025 as a Non-Executive Director.

Previous experience includes:

• Lancashire Holdings Limited– Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee (2021 – Present)
• M&G – Chief HR Officer (2017-2021)
• Prudential – HR Director, UK & Europe (2016-2017)
• Barclays – various roles including Group Human Resources Director (2013-2016)
• BP – HR Director, Functions and HR Transformation (2005-2011)

Irene has an MS in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the London School of Economics.
